Privacy
BSVKey Live (live.bsvkey.com) is run by Embryo Space Inc., doing business as BSVKey. Effective 21 October 2026 (updated the same day for fees, profiles and private streams). Questions: embryospace@gmail.com.
The short version
There are no accounts. Your wallet key stays in your browser. What you publish to Bitcoin BSV is public and permanent. We keep only what the site needs to run: stream details, chat messages, counts, and short server logs.
Your wallet
- The wallet key is created or loaded in your browser and kept in its local storage for this site. It is never sent to us.
- We see your wallet's public address when the page asks for its balance, and the signed transactions you choose to broadcast through us.
- If you clear your browser data without saving the key file, the key and any BSV on it are gone. We cannot recover it.
What is public on the blockchain
Stream headers (title, price, publisher address), encrypted video segments (for fully on-chain streams), window proofs, payment channel transactions, tips and settlements are Bitcoin BSV transactions. Anyone can read them, forever. Nobody, including us, can delete them.
What we store on our server
- Streams you publish: title, description, tags, category, channel name, price, publisher and payout addresses, the encrypted video copy, a thumbnail image (not encrypted, shown in listings), and the stream's encryption secret so we can sell its keys for you.
- Uploaded videos: processed into encrypted segments; the original upload file is deleted when processing ends.
- Camera and screen: only when you press Go live in the Studio. The video is sent to us to be encoded and encrypted, and is not kept unencrypted.
- Chat: the name you type, your message, and your wallet address if you choose to sign. The last 500 messages per stream are kept.
- Counts: views, likes, reactions, viewer presence (a random per-tab id, kept in memory) and key sales.
- Profiles: the display name, bio, link, picture and banner you choose for your wallet address. They are public.
- Private streams: the wallet addresses you allow to watch.
- Payments to the platform: transaction ids of Pro, Featured and hosting payments, with what they paid for.
- Co-streaming: guests' display names and wallet addresses, in memory for the broadcast only. Video between host and guests goes directly between their browsers.
- Ads: advertisers' campaigns (name, files, link, budget and wallet address) and view and click counts per campaign. When a viewer reports an ad, we keep their IP address with that report so one person cannot pause an ad alone. We do not build profiles of viewers: an ad is picked by the stream's topics, and a view is counted with a one-time token, not a cookie.
- Plus: the wallet address and end date of each Plus membership, and how many seconds Plus members watched each creator, used only to share Plus revenue.
- Card subscriptions: card payments are taken by Stripe; we never see the card. We keep the Stripe subscription and customer ids with the wallet address they renew, and which invoices were paid.
- Your API keys: a hash of each key, its name, last four characters and usage, and a copy encrypted to your wallet's public key so only your wallet can show it again.
- Partners (API): the partner's name, a hash of its API key (not the key), its credit, payments, usage counts and webhook address.
- Contact messages: the name, email, company and message you send through the Contact page, kept so we can reply.
- Reports you send about a stream: the category and reason you give, and your IP address, kept with the report so that one person counts once.
- Safety records: streams under review or on legal hold, banned wallet addresses and copyright strikes. Material reported as child exploitation is preserved and may be given to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement, as US law requires.
- Your 18+ choice: kept in your browser only.
- Logs: our server logs requests and your IP address for security and rate limits, kept for a short time by our host.
Restream keys
If you restream to YouTube, X, Twitch or another service, the stream key you paste is held in our server's memory only for that broadcast. It is never written to disk, never logged and never shown again.
Services we use
- Fly.io hosts this site.
- WhatsOnChain (reading the blockchain and the BSV price) and ARC broadcast services from GorillaPool and TAAL (sending transactions). They see the transactions and addresses involved.
- Platforms you restream to receive your video under their own terms.
- Stripe takes card payments for card subscriptions, under its own privacy policy.
In your browser
We use local storage for your wallet key, the channels you have open, the channels you follow, your chat name, and an activity log. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
If this changes, we update this page and its date.
